Christmas elves on the road

Especially in this year that is so heavily marked by the pandemic, we wanted to contribute to a charitable cause. Therefore, we have taken part in the "Pack a shoebox" campaign.

"Pack a shoebox" is part of Samaritan's Purse International's worldwide gift campaign "Operation Christmas Child". Shoeboxes with small gifts are collected in ten countries and distributed in over 100 countries.

The shoebox brings joy to socially disadvantaged families and is oftentimes the first ever Christmas gift for many children in need. The fact that someone has thought about them is incredibly valuable for children. The joy of the shoebox reverberates emotionally for a long time. Children find exercise books, toys and much more in their shoebox. Things we consider everyday items are invaluable for many of the children who receive them. As most of their families cannot afford even these everyday things.

We became aware of the campaign through the kindergartens our employee’s children attend. They support the campaign by collecting the shoe boxes and sending them to economically disadvantaged countries. Children are our future - all over the world. By participating in this campaign, we want to reflect on the beautiful things in life and try to bring joy during these challenging times.
